BCNEPS Courses Details
Bangladesh Clinical Neuroelectrophysiologists Society (BCNEPS) is the common platform for neurophysiology technologists, technicians, physicians, and physicists of Bangladesh. We are the pioneer to start testing services for all ages in children and adults in Bangladesh since 1996.
Fellowship Training (CFT)
For Clinical Neurophysiologists (Doctors)Designed for physicians looking to build advanced practical skill and knowledge in clinical neurophysiology.
Clinical Training Requirements:
During the 12-month program, participants gain hands-on clinical experience in Clinical Neurophysiology, attend Epilepsy clinics at Dr. MR Khan Shishu Hospital & ICH, or work under attached BCNEPS specialist tutors or neurologists. All training hours are recorded and signed in logbooks.
Clinical Rotations:
- EEG Laboratory and Epilepsy Clinics (Neurology Development and Rehab Unit, Dr. MR Khan Shishu Hospital & ICH)
- EEG Laboratory (Dhaka Shishu Hospital CDC & Neurology)
- Disability Department and EEG Laboratory (ICMH)
Technologists Certificate (CNT)
For Neuroelectrophysiology TechnologistsComprehensive technical training curriculum for neurophysiology technologists and laboratory technicians.
Didactic Training:
Completed within the first 12 months. Coursework is conducted at the Neurophysiology Laboratory of BPF Mirpur, Comfort, Central Hospital, and the Biomedical Physics & Technology department of Dhaka University. Practical exercises include tutorial classes and hands-on EEG, NCV, and EMG tutorials.
Technical Rotations:
- EEG Laboratories (BPF Laboratory, Comfort, and Central Hospital Laboratories)
- Biomedical Physics and Technology Department (University of Dhaka)
